Silver Strength was formed out of a passion for fitness and a desire to serve the geriatric community.
The goal of Silver Strength is to improve the quality of life for you or your loved ones through functional fitness.
I am the owner and a certified personal trainer for Silver Strength LLC. I have my bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science and a minor in Gerontology. I have been blessed to be able to do functional exercise with senior citizens since 2015 and have had a passion for it since my youth. Life can be challenging as we age, but I have found that exercise is a wonderful way to improve quality of life; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I love to help senior citizens that are facing challenges due to aging, acute injuries, diseases, or other life circumstances. It is my passion to inspire individuals to age well by staying active and finding joy through exercise! My purpose is to love God and love people
I have lived in Denver, Colorado since 2018 with my husband and son and we absolutely love it here. Prior to living in Colorado, I worked at Project Walk Spinal Cord Recovery Center in Carlsbad, California with patients who had spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Upon moving here, I gained valuable experience working with Stroke victims and persons with Parkinson’s Disease from my previous role at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Littleton, Colorado. I have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life through exercise, loving support, and simply being there for them through their greatest time of need.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Kinesiology from Purdue University in 2012 and earned the Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2020. I look forward to providing assistance to you and your loved one with compassionate care and utmost respect.
My philosophy is to educate my clients about their body and what they may be experiencing difficulty
moving and the long-term effects it will have on them. While training is a luxury for some it’s a necessity
for others. I enjoy having the ability to ease my client’s pain and increase their strength and mobility like
I have been doing for many years. I want to use my many years of experience as a personal trainer and
massage therapist to help relieve pain and increase strength to anyone that I meet.
Hello my name is Emily Harris. I am a Colorado native, but for the last 6 years I have been pursuing my education in Nebraska. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at College of Saint Mary. I am excited to now be back home, closer to family and the beautiful mountains! Throughout my time in Nebraska, I worked as a personal trainer, as well as a Clinical Exercise Specialist in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. I have a passion for helping others and love being able to bring the opportunity of movement and a stronger lifestyle to my clients. I have found great joy in working with the older adult community, and promise to be a companion and a motivator for your loved one as they age!

The exercise provided by Silver Strength is unique and different compared to insurance covered physical therapy. Physical therapy is wonderful but is short term. It may fix some issues but they must answer to insurance companies and may be expensive if paid out of pocket.
Silver Strength is privately paid through the individual. The positive side of the business model is senior citizens need long term, on-going, functional fitness into later stages of life to maintain muscles mass, improve balance, and decrease chances of falls. Many individuals do not know how to do this on their own and that is where Silver Strength can help!
It’s hard to put into words just how amazing Holly Bent is. My mom lives in a memory care center and is recovering from a broken hip. Holly has been nothing short of amazing. The time she has taken to foster a relationship with my mom and our family has helped make us feel so at ease, especially during the pandemic. My mom LOVES Holly (as do we) and because of their relationship my mom has been able to make strides physically that we were not sure she would make. Holly communicates with us constantly, provides updates as well as phone calls with mom. We are so incredibly thankful for the care that Holly has given my mom and we can not recommend her highly enough!

We so much appreciate Holly’s professionalism and compassion while working with our mother for the last 2 and a half years. We believe Holly increased our mother’s quality of life, not only with the evolving workout program bespoke to her specific needs, but with her friendship and companionship as well.

Words are insufficient to describe the benefits our mother received from working with the providers at Silver Strength LLC.
Mom sustained a compression fracture of her lumbar spine at the age of 94. Although it was a stable fracture which did not require surgery, there was still significant pain and discomfort associated with movement. Holly and her employees, Meredith and Ro, were instrumental in helping Mom learn to move in ways that minimized her pain plus work on her strength, range of motion and balance. More importantly they became family; they knew when to push so that Mom remained mobile and ambulatory for her remaining two years of life but they also recognized when she wasn’t in the mood for “work” but just needed a little visit.
Unencumbered from the constraints of Medicare regarding physical therapy coverage, including the rules and restrictions when a patient is on hospice care, Holly and her team are able to provide the frequency and length of sessions that work best for each individual.
We couldn’t have asked for more. We only wish that we had found Silver Strength earlier in Mom’s journey. We will always be grateful for their time, care and impact.

Silver Strength, Holly, provides a variety physical activities In a very caring way to keep Mom’s strength up. She matches the exercise to Mom’s needs. She has built a great relationship with Mom and our family. Mom enjoys each session and they are well worth every penny. Before and during this tough pandemic time, I have always counted on Holly to keep Mom safe and create a positive experience that supports Mom both physically and mentally.

Holly Bent has been working with me since November 2019. Holly has been doing personal training with older adults for about 6 years. I had a stroke in May 2019 and have been doing PT/OT/Speech with therapists from Encompass paid for by Medicare. When Medicare cut back to 2 sessions per week my wife and I decided to get a personal trainer on board as 2 weekly sessions wasn’t enough. The physical therapist from Encompass fully supported the idea to add a personal trainer to further my rehabilitation.
The additional sessions with Holly have been a blessing, I have made much progress and continue to do so . Holly brings a variety of exercises to her customized rehab program, she never makes me do the same exercises over and over. Holly is very knowledgeable, caring, courteous, encouraging, punctual and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Our 98 year old mom contracted Covid while at an assisted living facility. Being as strong as she is, she beat it with a lot of help. Once she returned from the hospital a plan was put in place to help her build back up. An important part of that was to get mom moving again and to rebuild strength. Holly and Silver Strength played a big role of that multidisciplinary effort. Silver Strength's physical therapy work with mom was an integral part of her recovery and ready to turn 100 soon, we owe a great part of her continued health to Silver Strength. They were reliable, caring and knew exactly what was needed to accomplish the goals we all had. We would recommend Silver Strength without any reservations at all.
